Training​

As first responders, we need to go to considerable lengths to make sure that our skills are sharp and our equipment is ready for any emergency incident that comes our way. Training & maintenance drills occur every Monday at 7:00pm, except for the second Monday of each month. In addition to these weekly drills, there are periodically additional training opportunities on the weekends and other nights throughout the year. During our drills, we practice important skills that are needed to carry out our job as firefighters and/or check the operation of all equipment to ensure that it is fully functioning and ready for use when needed in an emergency incident. It is all an ongoing and laborious team effort, but it is necessary to make sure that the company is ready to respond at a moment’s notice to whatever emergencies pop up in the district.
